News: Horizons ’16

Horizons’16, the inter-department cultural extravaganza organised exclusively for the second years kick-started on 3rd September with a series of Sports events (Football, Cricket, Basketball and Throwball) which placed Mechanical department at the top of the points table. The departments competed in Arts, Literary, Gaming, Music and Dance events, conducted from 13th to 16th October. The cultural extravaganza culminated with the much-awaited Choreonite on the 16th of October and ECE emerged the overall champions with 109 points. Not far behind, with a margin of just 5 points was the Mechanical Engineering department at second place. Last year’s victors, the Department of Architecture followed close behind with 103.5 points.

The members of the Rotaract Club worked hard, and successfully put up a smooth and hassle-free show. Horizons witnessed some promising talent and good team spirit. Finally, Horizons came to a happy end when the ultimate purpose of uniting batch mates from each branch was realised.
